Ramesh Mahtani shares his thoughts in The Booth Within
When Jason and I began The Booth Within, we wanted to create a space for honest and meaningful conversations—away from the noise and distraction of the outside world, closer to what really matters on a personal level. Over time, we’ve heard from many of you… about how these conversations have helped you feel less alone, more grounded and perhaps more balanced.
So, we thought it’s a good time to dive a little deeper, and bring in a new set of offerings on our site—simple, practical tools to help support your mental well-being throughout the day; little tips to help navigate those troubled waters that shake our boats, every so often. We’ll leave these alongside our ongoing conversations and they are basically for you to revisit anytime you need to take a breath, reflect, or take a break.
The first is a series I’m calling Ruminations with Ramesh—short spoken reflections, recorded from wherever I happen to be. They’re not polished, not scripted, and come from a place of deep reflection. I’ll be speaking about being present, where our attention lies, how to bring in more compassion in our day-to-day, and how living with greater awareness can make such a huge difference in the quality of our life—sharing practices and insights that have helped me navigate daily life with more peace and meaning.
We’re also launching Five-Minute Resets—brief, guided audio experiences that you can play anytime during your day. Whether you're between meetings, feeling overwhelmed, or simply hungry for a little pause, these are designed to help you return to yourself. The first one—a five-minute guided meditation—is now live on our site.
And do remember please, this isn’t about productivity. It’s about being present. About making space for reflection, wherever you are. We’ll be adding more over time, including breathwork, grounding visualizations, and other audio moments to help you reconnect with what’s inside. This may all sound like old cliches we’ve heard a million times; however they’re really grounded in age old truth, and can make a significant change in our lives. Let’s not take them for granted.
Thank you for being part of this inner journey with us.
Loved this episode, Ramesh! Looking forward to more ruminations and resets. 🙏💫💛
