Step inside a quiet place for a mindful escape.

Have you ever felt like your work no longer defines you the way it used to?

I'm Jason Bermingham, and together with my friend and colleague Ramesh Mahtani, we created The Booth Within as a space to explore that feeling—to pause, reflect, and really listen.

As voice actors, we spend so much time perfecting our outer voice that we often forget to check in with the one inside. This project was born from our own need to shut out the noise, turn on the mic, and reconnect—not with the industry, but with ourselves and each other.

Voiceover has given us incredible careers—freedom, creativity, connection—but lately, we’ve felt the need to go deeper. The Booth Within isn’t about gear, trends, or how to book the next gig. It’s about staying human in a world that feels less and less designed for humans.

Through these conversations, we explore what it means to find peace when the ground shifts beneath your feet. We talk about burnout, identity, the impact of AI, and the loneliness that can come with success. We talk about stillness. About gratitude. And how, in the end, it’s not about resisting change—it’s about finding our balance within it.

If you’ve ever questioned your worth beyond your job title… if you’ve felt the anxiety of trying to keep up… or if you just want to sit in on a conversation that makes you feel a little less alone—welcome. You’re in the right place.

Let’s begin?
